New Expy's finally showing up.

I got calls from 2 AD's yesterday announcing the arrival of the Expy II's. Both tried to push the sale over the phone. Both suggested I buy it and then just return/refund if I don't like it. Both told me how many they had sold already. And both didn't really know how to react when I told them I was very patient, and would get in to see the models when it's convenient.

Anyway, they're here, at least in Chicago.

Oh -- and one even compared them to a SS Daytona as far as being hard-to-get, lulz.

List is 7750.

Yep that is correct! I'm in NY and got the call from a friend at the TWC Rolex boutique in Chicago that my black dial arrived! Truthfully speaking the SS Daytona is hard to in places like NY, Chicago, and LA, however, travel to places like Utah, Alaska, North and South Dakota and you can find a dime a dozen SS Dayton's at AD' just collecting dust so not really that hard to find... You know the saying seek and ye shall receive!

Good info - Thanks! That means MN can't be too far behind.

I would like one, but I refuse to pay list

A little bit of patience like you said and they will be pretty easy to get. Don't blame them, but right now ADs are pushing them just because they can.

The little Rolex shop at Schiphol airport Amsterdam had both the black and the white when I passed through there last Saturday. Couldn't resist trying them on. The pics I've seen on this forum had sold them for me, but like the older Explorer II's, in the flesh, they're just not for me.
