ID Help
I have inherited a 5513 , serial 1617120 which from reading I believe is from 1962 sometime.
However, I have noticed most of the pictures Ive seen show "600ft = 200m" above the Submariner on the dial. Mine on the other hand states "200m = 600ft". Why? Regards, Stephen. |

This should help you with the dial variations. The meters first dial came before the Feet first dial. They switched over some time around in the late 60's |

Yep, the dial is supposed to be a "Meters First".....they also command a slight premium over
their Feet First counterparts. Post up some pics so we can drool upon it. Cheers. |
