ID Help

I have inherited a 5513 , serial 1617120 which from reading I believe is from 1962 sometime.

However, I have noticed most of the pictures Ive seen show "600ft = 200m" above the Submariner on the dial. Mine on the other hand states "200m = 600ft".

Why?

Regards,

Stephen.

This should help you with the dial variations.

The meters first dial came before the Feet first dial.

They switched over some time around in the late 60's

Yep, the dial is supposed to be a "Meters First".....they also command a slight premium over
their Feet First counterparts.

Post up some pics so we can drool upon it.

Cheers.
