Ruger #1. IMHO, some of the nicest and most rugged single shot rilfes around!
And some photos of some Marlin Scout Rilfes in 30-30 and 45-70. Last edited by leopardprey; 3 August 2007 at 10:46 PM.. |

Nice pics,Chad
Ruger # 1 is such a fine looking rifle.Very strong falling block action.Need a long eye relief scope though and better have the back up shot from someone else when you take on Mr Buffalo with the single shot Ruger ... I have a Marlin 30-30 in ss/wood.Exceptionally handsome rifle |

Chad, what do you do with the kill?
When I hunted in South Africa, all the meat was given to local villagers. I then had the horns mounted on a skull mount and sent back to the USA. When I hunt in the USA, I keep all the meat (venison) for myself, family and friends. There is nothing better tasting or healthier than fresh game meat! |
