1940's Art-Deco Ladies Rolex - Help Please
My wife's grandfather was an Ambassador to the US in the 40's and he bought this watch for his wife in Switzerland on a business trip. I am now having it looked at and would like to give it to me wife for Christmas. Does anyone know any history on these watches and current worth?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks, John |

That's very nice. I like it. My grandmother has a similar looking Omega from 1950. I love that styling.

The crown on your dial looks good. The OP's looks like a bad refinish - sorry.

Your Wife is gonna Freak when you give it to her with the family history and all. A leather strap look real good on that one.
