Need some advice
Brand new to the forum and thought I would take a chance to introduce myself and see if I could get some advice. When I was hired at my first airline 15 years ago I bought myself a Breitling Chronospace and have worn it every day since. This watch has been around the world with me more times than I can remember and has always performed flawlessly.
But deep down, as attached as I am to the Chrono, I have always lusted after a Pepsi GMT. Don't know exactly what it is about the watch (you that own them would know more than me) but I always told myself I would eventually have one, the time has come to make that happen. Now I just need some advice from you all to point me in the right direction. I recently had the chance to pick up a mint "F" series from a local guy but when I had the chance to try it on it just didn't feel right. It might have been just me (that is why I'm looking for advice) but it felt too light on the wrist. I have also tried on the 116710 which is closer to the "feel" I was looking for but would really like to stick with the pepsi bezel I have wanted for all these years. With all the models made over the years I am lost as to where exactly I should be looking. I really like the more vintage look of the 1675 but as this watch is intended to be worn daily should I shy away from older models? I appreciate you guys taking the time to read all this and appreciate any advice you may have. Thanks |
