Ever take a break?
Interesting experience I had recently. Don't ask me what, but it seems over-night this "pimple" thing appeared on my wrist right below the middle of my Daytona, actually bothered me wearing a watch. I have no idea what it was, in-grown hair, acne, some mysterious infectious disease that Doctor House will have to solve to save my life? (That's probably it). Anyway, for about the last week or so, I couldn't wear a watch, of any kind. I tried wearing my Daytona on my right arm, but that was just too awkward, so anyway, for a while I have went "watchless."
It's kind of a different experience. I found myself looking at my wrist to check the time, (and seeing nothing but a pimple there), and I missed the times when I would just take a moment and admire my Rolex (am I the only one that does this by the way? ) but there were some good things about not wearing it too. First, it was one-less thing to worry about. I (try to) go to the gym every day, and I don't like wearing it around the machines, so I lock it in my locker. I'm always just a bit concerned.... was anyone watching me put it in there? Are there any thefts? When I am done, and getting dressed after my shower I check about 15 times to make sure I have my watch, (come on men, we all do it, make sure we've got our wallet, our keys, our watch...). Anyway, there was none of that during this "break" from wearing a watch. I missed it, but it was actually a little bit "refreshing" Maybe I'm just weird.... Well, the pimple, or alien life form, or whatever it was is almost gone, so I'll be puting my Daytona back on soon, I was just wondering if anyone else ever experience anything like this? |

No, I have not experienced anything like what you described.
But I am sure Jocke will have some opinions.

Is it the micro-chip implant Jocke has implanted into your wrist to monitor watch usage and type?

I take my watch of only when I work out. And yes, I do look at my wrist for the time for the hour or hour and a half the watch is not there....
Wouldn't want to go without a watch. I sort of think of a watch "standard equipment for a man", sort of like boxers.

it's on the way back again. You ask if this is pretty normal and I will say yes, most of us here have the same experience. Right?

Hmmm.... Jocke... I'm still not sure you didn't have something to do with this...
Is it possible to photo-shop a pimple? |

Did you cheat on your Daytona and pick something up from a cheap RADO or Invicta... You better see a doctor to get rid of it. Looks like you're going to have to have a heart to heart with your Daytona and tell her the truth!

Paul, I'd be very careful with your Daytona, you don't know if that thing of yours was contagious!
Take a look at the dial for a couple of weeks, maybe we'll see the first "Teen face dial" Daytona!

Had to take a theory driving test the other day, and you had to put everything in a locker. No wallet, I couldn't even wear my jumper. And the lady said I had to put my DJ in the locker as well. As if I've got the bleeding answers written on the back of. And I was brickin it, thought it was gonna be nicked cos the place was full of chavs.
And not been wearing one riding my bike at the mo, cos everyone tells me I'm gonna crash. Is weird going out without a watch on. Oh and Paul, liquid nitrogen works a treat. |

No GTG's for you Paul. At least not until this weird fungus growth issue has been resolved.
I mean we wouldn't want any other members on the forum to get infected.

You've already lived longer than most Dr's would have projected.
You better mail your Daytona to me for safe keeping.

It will be gone before you know it.

Don't make me post up pictures from my colon resection surgery.
They wouldn't let me keep my watch on during that either.

Now tell me gentlemen, is it safe to wear a Rolex while bursting...well...that!

mo - moment brickin it - sh*ting it. Chavs - Are the menace of British streets, known for their anti-social behavior. They can be recognised in hooded sweaters, tracksuit bottoms tucked into their socks and baseball caps, usually Burberry - at a 45 degree angle - sometimes with the hood over. Oh and I wish you guys would use trousers instead of pants, because pants here means undies, skimpies, skivvies, kecks or under-crackers. |
