Warranty question

I know if you buy a preowned rolex that the warranty is void.

But what about if you ever wanted to send the watch in to RSC for service? Being a second owner can you do this??

Yes, you can send a used Rolex to the RSC for service.

When you get it back, you'll have the same warranty as a new watch.

.
Absolutely....They'll take any Rolex newer than about 30 years and practically insist that you go for the "full service"

Kinda like the guys at the mall kiosks that just want to "clean your Rolex for you sir", or the auto repair guy who only wants to do a "free" 99 point inspection

The price of the service would be around the US 450 mark

I am working on a warranty issue now. I am having warranty work done on a Rolex watch. I am the second owner. I sent in the watch along with a copy of the warranty paperwork, copy of sales receipt that the seller gave me and a letter stating that the watch was given to me as a gift. They are fixing the warranty under warranty for free. Yeah baby!!! Luck maybe? :)

As far as I aware, as long as the watch is within the warranty period and all the necessary paperwork is in order, being the second owner is not a problem.

Not in the US. The warranty stays with the original owner in the US. I did the gift thing and it worked.
