Icon8 Watch serviced by RSC in your Country.

Have you had a Rolex serviced by a Rolex service centre?.

In what country?.

How much did they charge and was the bezel inset included in the price?.

All parts that are needed will be extra priced including inserts if needed on top of the basic service price for each model.Service cost would depending on what model watch prices vary from country to country depening on currency exchange etc.

Standard price for a service on a modern professional model here is £430 inc. VAT. Inserts are not covered in that price, but can be replaced for approximately £30. The new King's Hill facility is probably the finest watch service centre in the world right now, and the quality of their work is superb - just seen them do some beautiful work on a Red 1680

When the time comes I wouldn't let mine go to King's Hill.
I'd let St. James's London do it. Will take them half the time as they service on site.

In Italy they asked me about 700€ for a mid-70s DateJust. A competent independent watchmaker serviced it for 300€, including the cost of a damaged wheel and a new plastic glass (all parts original).

St James is not like a proper RSC yes they will regulate and do very small repairs but all the full service used to go to Bexley now Kings Hill.

the complete service costs in the U.S. is about $650 now. however, i had a polar e2 serviced in the rsc in taiwan, and the total cost was < $240usd, and turn over rate was 2 weeks. honestly, i don't think i will ever get any of my rolex serviced in the u.s. anymore.

I paid 4kSEK(about 420 Euros) here in Sweden for a complete service a couple of months ago. It seems to be a standard price, since it is approximately the same as the prices quoted above.

Oh, and you get to keep everything replaced.

NZ price

I had my dj serviced by Mansors in Auckland New Zealand was normally i think $1250 but it needed some other part - I think for hacking mechanism, so was $1350 NZ. I thought it was very expensive actually. They are the only Rolex AD in NZ so no competition and can set the price. Hadn't been done for ages, I think 10 years + Yeah included everything and did come back looking like a new watch. I wasn't heading overseas so got it done here.

I think the mandatory service fee alone at an Australia RSC is Au$800 if no new parts are required but I could be wrong.

U.S. RSC prices are about $600+ depending on the model and the condition of the watch. Extras charges apply for replacement parts, such as bezel, bezel insert, etc. I hope this helps a little.

I have never used a Rolex Service Center.

Today I called Rolex Service Center in Dallas, TX. They informed me that a complete service starts out at $600. I was also informed that even though the watch would be shipped out of state I would still be charged sales tax which is 8.25% for Dallas Texas, which I computed to be $49.50. I then asked return shipping prices. They said it would depend on the watch. I told them a stainless steel submariner, which they replied would be $40-45.

Service $ 600.00
Tax $ 49.50
Shipping $ 40.00

Total $ 689.50

$ 689.50 U.S. Dollars converted to other currencies:

442.05 - British Pounds
514.83 - Euro
635.27 - Swiss Francs
702.89 - Canadian Dollars
674.99 - Australian Dollars

Nice one!!! Mine ran to replacement luminova dial and hands, new bracelet (old one had cracked rivets), and of course full service inc new balance weight.
Total cost £1900 (Approx $2900) and 14 weeks wait but well worth it in my opinion....
