Preown Shop in NYC
Hi, will be going to NYC for holiday end of this month. Wanna get myself a GMT II 16710 Pepsi, can someone recommend me some reputable/trust worthy preown shop there?
Many Thanks |

Wholesale Jewelery Inc. Diamond Source.
29 West 47th street 212-730-5959 They were able to get a difficult to find watch for me at a good price! and they didnt screw w/ me like the other places on 47th street did. I would buy from them again if there was anything that I wanted.

I can't add any names to the pre-owned Rolex seller's list, but have some experience with deal-making in NYC. Only offering this in the spirit of communication. It may go without saying, but in the competitive jewelry trade in NYC, prices are very negotiable and, like anywhere, cash is king. Using a friend's shipping address in NJ or CT to complete the sale (where the item will be delivered) saves you the 8.875% NYC+state+metro transit sales tax if you make the deal appear as an "internet sale". If you use an electronic payment and have the item shipped to an address outside NY state, then you can benefit from the US law exempting local and state sales tax for on-line sales that cross state boundaries. (BTW, this doesn't work if the seller has a physical shop in the state you have it shipped to - they will charge the "shipped to" state's sales tax.) The fact that you inspected the item personally in NYC, and had the item put "on hold" for you, would not matter. It is how you fulfill the transaction that matters. Again, just sharing possible techniques that are common in the US (maybe elsewhere, too).
