watch with box but no papers, effect on value?

still searching for a sub i can afford

found a nice 16610 with lug holes and t<25 markings that i like .. i want teh lug holes to swap bands for fun, and the tritium doesnt bother me because i like when it ages a little .. ill never afford my GMTIIc again, and id only want it if i could get MINE back, i already messaged the gent i sold it to hopefully i hear back

owner has watch, box, but no original papers .. with the budget im on i cant be too picky, hell if i could find a nice example with nothing but the watch hell even a head i would take it ..

but how much should i mentally "drop" the value for not having the original papers?

unless i am going to lose a limb, i will NOT lose my rolex this time .. ive built up emergency savings so i wont have to face that issue ever again, its time to step back in the game ..

thanks all

todd
