Thanks all - 116613LB coming soon.

I decided to pull the trigger on a new 116613LB - "V" serial number - as I just love the blue ceramic even though the 116710 GMT IIc would be a much more useful "tool" watch for me.

I just couldn't stop looking at the blue face and bezel, and ultimately that's what it's all about…

Pictures when I pick it up - thanks again all.

Now the only question is whether to keep or sell the Grand Carrera, since it's likely to just sit in the drawer now…

(How could I not wear the Sub once I get it?)

You have impeccable taste!

I was going to add other watches to my collection, but after wearing my daughters black tt and the wife's non-date, I won't be. The blue tt is the watch for me, it's sensational.

I have a Tag that has gathered dust for the last two months since I purchased my GMT. I think you will find difficulty not wearing your new sub once it arrives. I would have sold my Grand Carrera, but the AD I bought from only offered me 25% of the purchase value of the watch. It was less than one year old!

I decided to hang on to it rather than take a hit like that. If you can get decent $ for it, I would sell it. My guess is that, like me, you will want another Rolex soon anyways.

Great choice on your Sub btw!

Though I admit as an automatic chrono it's still loads cheaper than a Daytona.

Wow, that's a tight dealer! I had a Steve McQueen Monaco on a TAG bracelet before I went over to Rolex. I got more than I paid for it 5 years previously, though I did work some magic by buying from the US when it was £1:$2 exchange rates and from a dealer who was more into higher end pieces and wanted shot, I think. I miss the Monaco, it was gorgeous. I just know I would not wear it though as the Sub does everything, every day.
