My "new" Daytona

I had some free time and decided to tinker again with my Daytona. It seems to be an annual thing with me. What do you think?

2010...

2011...

2012...

I know... I should have just bought an 116519 to begin with right?

Which face is that? My assumption would be white gold but it looks different from others I have seen.

It's a WG dial from an 116519. In fact, my Daytona now looks like an 116519 minus the obvious WG bezel. For the haters, I'm not trying to pose it as something it's not... I just like to spice up my stainless steel Daytona and have all the original parts to return it to stock.

Pete,
It's the stock bracelet clasp. I modified a new Daytona strap to accept the bracelet clasp. It's all original Rolex except Eugene's endlinks.

Nice alteration, you have the best of both worlds, with a black & white dial.

I'll take some pics later. It's pretty simple. Biggest problem is that there isn't much adjustment capabilities with the old Daytona clasp. I'm going to try it on a newer clasp to see if it's any better.

Good luck with the ADs. I'm still thinking about getting that Daytona as well - I opted for a YG GMTc for now.
