I Am A Traitor
...well, to the NATO anyway.
Today, I was heading out to the lake for a day on the water. During boat prep, I was hot. My wrist was sweating, and the NATO band was sticking to me. The watch find itself easily off-center, and not comfortable. I had mentioned in a previous thread that when swimming, the NATO was often uncomfortable because the watch would cant one way or the other, and I would have to manually adjust the positioning. So, tonight, with the wife's help, I put the SS bracelet back on. But, since I'm partially retarded, it wasn't too easy. I started on the 6 o'clock position, and put the damn thing on wrong. So, I had to manage to get the stupid thing back off. Now remember -- a week ago I had to take it to an AD to do this. Tonight -- oh hell no! I'm not having a partial upside-down, half-cocked, hanging bracelet. I'd have to take it in like a kid would show a wounded sparrow to his mother... So, anyway, I got the bracelet back off, then back on, and I'm good to go. Now I know why these things come on SS bracelets instead of cloth straps.
