Another AP or PAM?
Good Day All,
I am trying to finger out what watch to get next, another AP to go with my AP Diver or another Panerai to go with my PAM114. This might be the last watch for a long time. The Panerai’s I am looking at are the 233 and the 372 (I have a PAM372 on order but it might take a long time, They are now talking March/April). I really like the 233. The AP’s I am looking are the RO (15300) this one has a glass back and the SS bracelet, The ROC (26300) with SS bracelet, Volcano, Panda and the Safari (Might take 6-9 month to save for the Safari, Panda or Volcano). I like the AP style. Thanks, Eric |

Tough call. I'm in the same boat, but will likely go with a PAM when the time comes. Good luck!

Eric the classic 15300 would be a excellent addition to your already fantastic collection

I don't put Panerai in the same division as Audemars Piguet. The latter is up there with Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constatin and newer ones like Lange. Panerai is mass-produced, much like Rolex, even if the quantities are smaller the hype bigger [ ;-) ]. Having said that, you should get what looks best in your eyes and fit best on your wrist, e.g. I really like the ROO watches, but they are not very comfortable on my wrist, thus not a good fit for me.
Regardless, I'm holding of to SiHH announcement in a week to decide what I get next! :-) |

If it has to be one watch it's going to have to be AP.....at least for me.

I would opt for a ROO, Black Themes on a bracelet or a Safari.

Eric,
Get the 15300 while you can. It's discontinued as of this month - to be replaced by the 15400 (unveiling next week at SIHH). Mike |

I also love my PAM233, although after trying on the 15300 at an AD over the weekend, I must say the AP is quite amazing. I think I'm catching the AP bug :)

I can't recommend the 15300--or indeed, any AP Royal Oak--highly enough. A masterpiece of a luxury watch in every detail conceivable! If you anticipate it will be your last watch for some time, then go Audemars!

Maybe the 15400 might be better, I hope they keep the glassback. |
