YG Daytona!

I went to my local AD a few minutes ago. They were having a big sale. Of course Rolex was excluded. Anyway they did tell me they had a YG solid gold Daytona w/ gold dial they would sell for $14,400. Anybody want it?

I stopped by a dealer today (not sure if AD) and they wanted $13,500 for a white faced SS!! I would take the solid gold any day if I had to pay that amount!

Is it the 116518 (with strap) or 116528 (with 18K Gold Bracelet)?

I love mine (116528 - Yseries) in fact I'm wearing it right now. At that price it is a steal that won't last long. They are selling on the grey market for more than that!

So it is a Rolex AD. Alan Furman wants something in the $18ks for this watch. I am meeting with a Rolex expert today and will ask him what is required to make this a good buy. I will keep in touch. What dial(s) are on the watches?

Yes they are an AD. Very reputable private owned (not a chain) AD. The watch looks exactly like Richards in the pics above.

I tried on a YG Daytona black dial at my AD today. Aus$33000. WG also available for Aus$36000 (go figure). Better news, SS Daytona soon.

Just when I'm nearly there on my TT Blue Sub money saving, something like this comes up....

It's nice to fantasize about, but I'm too rough and tumble for a solid 18K gold watch, and I don't need a "safe queen"

Craig,

The TT blue is the watch for you!!!! And IMO looks better than the YG Daytona!
