Can it be done?

So I have a 14060M and I really like the watch. I really prefer non date watches, I think their cleaner looking (just my choice) Lately I've been eyeing Yachtmasters, really like the silver bezel and face. Am I be stupid here thinking I can get a silver bezel inset and a silver face on my watch? Would keep the original parts in case I ever wanted to return it to factory.

Are you looking to put the Yachtmaster dial and insert in the 14060M or just some kind of silver dial and insert in the 14060m?

I didn't think Yachtmaster parts fit (plus it has date)...just wondering if anyone has ever done it or if there is a way to do it.....

I doubt that they will for a number of various reasons. Possibly because of dimension or difference in movement. However even if they did the cost and difficulty to source them would be rather prohibitive.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I will be along shortly to confirm or deny and explain why or why not.

Besides the dial would still have a window for the date but their wouldn't be a date on the Sub ND.

Why not just get a Yachtmaster?

Thanks guys, just not into date.....found this pic on the net. Not sure how they did it, but thinking the same could be done with non date?

Probably but it will be aftermarket parts. I wouldn't do it, but it's your watch do whatever you wish. I would however retain the original parts, if you were ever to chose to resell it would probably be a bit harder to do if you don't have the original parts.

RSC would no longwer service your watch unless returned to original prior, but you can always find some independent watchmaker instead.

That is way cool! They could call it the "Arctic Sub".

The Yachtmaster parts will interchange with the Sub Date...

They will not interchange with a 14060, which is a completely different watch from the Sub Date except for similar looks..

There is no Yachmaster-colored dial that I know of and the bezel of the YM is platinum. Unless you go aftermarket, you are not going to be able to pull it off with genuine parts without it looking like a Frankenwatch. Just my .02

You would be better off selling your Sub and getting a YM and having the cyclops removed, which is probably the closest you are going to get to achieving the look you are after (and brushing the bracelet/case depending on how much "bling" you want)

I'm sure I've seen a picture of an actual silver Sub on here before...and no it wasn't called a Yachtmaster.

There are Slate and Champagne Serti dials, but both of these are for the TT Sub Date 16613. The OP is looking for something for the ND Sub.

This is the Champagne Serti Dial.
