Can it be done?
So I have a 14060M and I really like the watch. I really prefer non date watches, I think their cleaner looking (just my choice) Lately I've been eyeing Yachtmasters, really like the silver bezel and face. Am I be stupid here thinking I can get a silver bezel inset and a silver face on my watch? Would keep the original parts in case I ever wanted to return it to factory.

Are you looking to put the Yachtmaster dial and insert in the 14060M or just some kind of silver dial and insert in the 14060m?

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I will be along shortly to confirm or deny and explain why or why not. Besides the dial would still have a window for the date but their wouldn't be a date on the Sub ND. Why not just get a Yachtmaster?

RSC would no longwer service your watch unless returned to original prior, but you can always find some independent watchmaker instead.

They will not interchange with a 14060, which is a completely different watch from the Sub Date except for similar looks..

You would be better off selling your Sub and getting a YM and having the cyclops removed, which is probably the closest you are going to get to achieving the look you are after (and brushing the bracelet/case depending on how much "bling" you want)

I'm sure I've seen a picture of an actual silver Sub on here before...and no it wasn't called a Yachtmaster.
