Newly Purchased Grail....1675 - Nipple Dial GMT
My grail is on my wrist after a long wait and I had to share my new purchase. Over the years I've learned a lot from the online Rolex community and I owe a debt of gratitude.
My daily watch for 15 years has been a Datejust I purchased with a small inheritance upon the death of my Grandmother. And while I have been lucky enough to have several other watches through the years - a Sinn, a Rolex Oysterdate, and a few others - the Datejust has been my every day. I first saw a Nipple Dial GMT TT 1675 when I was 20 and have wanted one ever since but they always seemed just out of reach. It was a well worn, stretched out, every day watch of an old girlfriend's father. He wore it year round - on the slopes in the winter, every day at work, and through summer after summer of water skiing. I always wanted one and am happy to say that I have just picked one up after 20 years of admiration and it hasn't left my wrist yet. With the arrival of this watch, the Datejust is going to go in for a service and spend some time resting in the safe.

What a beauty! Congratulations! Nipple Dials are real nice! I've tried a 1675 Nipple Dial Two Tone on a Oyster and it was unbelievably nice!

You have great taste! Ip have both a 1675/3 on a jubilee and a 16753 on an oyster. I am wearing my 1675/3 right now as it is in my rotation along with a TT 1601 datejust on jubilee and a 16700 GMT on an oyster.
I too had wanted a TT GMT for a long time and was also mesmerized by the first one I ever saw and never forgot it. I think that sine it was being worn by a man I have an immense amount of respect and admiration for helped make it a grail watch for me ask well. Congrats on a great looking 1675/3. It seems to be in great condition. If/when your bracelet stretch becomes an issue, I can highly recommend sending it to rehab with Michael Young in Hong Kong.
