New and old yacht master

Hi,,,

What is the different between new and old yacht master ?..

Supposedly there is a difference in the font and dial. I think the older combo comes with a bolder font of red where it says Yacht-Master. Also I think the platinum dial is much more sparklier as well.

The newer version has a flatter platinum dial and less pronounced "Yacht-Master". I don't know the exact details but I'll let the experts weigh in on this.

There has no real important changes to the Yachtmaster since its launch in 1992 the change to Luminover around 1998.Then the around 2001 the Laser Etched crystals started.Around 2002 end of Y series early 2003 the Non lugs holes started to make there appearance on most models.From 2004 Serial F/D on some models the Rolex Rolex Rolex on the Rehaut ring some very minor font a slight colour changes on dials and thats about it so in reality there is no new YM just a very very slight difference to the first ones frrom 1992.
