Only brass and other metals the red coloured winding wheels are a teflon coated alloy.

However the New Rolex Daytona 4130 movement does use an Elastic Ring to advance the timer hand. As per WatchTime magazine Feb 2001 issue page 32.

Elastic, in the context of the 4130, does not mean plastic... it means that it can deform and return to it's original shape...(all metals have a modus of elasticity, they are, in fact, "elastic")

Elastic and plastic are not interchangeable from an engineering perspective...

The rotating ceramic bezels have a plastic component as part of the assembly but no plastic parts in the movements.

Can you explain this more? I'm curious, but when searching for it all I find is "plastic bezel protector."

(all metals have a modus of elasticity, they are, in fact, "elastic") Hence, metal is now elastic and black is white. I get it.
