My Rolex is around a 1993-4 and it was last serviced in 2009. I was wondering what a reasonable loss of time is for a time piece like this. It is losing around 13-15 seconds per day.

Is anyone experiencing the same problem or know how much time is lost per day on their Submariner?

Any advice would be appreciated!

-4 to +6 is the generally accepted spec.
This depends a lot on wearing habits however....

Reasonable is relative. I've got a time piece that's 10sec fast that I can live with. I've also had one that was 5sec slow and it drove me nuts. I would try getting it regulated as it was serviced recently. If that doesn't work, send it in again.

If you`re losing that much time per day your Sub may need service,this is not normal.

If it is losing 15 seconds a day, take it in and have it regulated... It is a common and easily done procedure to get your watch back to it's usual supurb accuracy..

Any modern Rolex is capable of accuracy within a couple of seconds a day..

My Sub C was running to the second for about 2 months straight. Then all of a sudden it's 10 seconds fast per day. ???

In general if the hairspring/parts in watch gets magnetised in general a watch will speed up and run very erratic or come to a complete stop and refuse to start.
