Maxi Dial Sub
I really love the look of the Maxi Dial. I just wonder if the Sub will get a Maxi upgrade? And if so, I wonder if the new bezel would fit on my 2007 16610 sub?

Me, too
I have the Maxi Dial on my Yachtmaster and it is better lume than my past Rolexes. I'd love to see a heavy duty, supercase, maxi dial Submariner (I'll take mine in gold and black) preferably in a 42 mm dial. Something like a tasteful YM II clownmaster.

I still haven't seen a Maxi in person yet. How are they different to a non Maxi? Is the case itself bigger, or just the Bezel is thicker? The minute hands are thicker as well as the minute hand, but as in case size, is there a difference?

I think all professional models in the line will have the Maxi dial eventually but the question of "when" can never be answered by anyone except Rolex. It just happens gradually rather than all at the same time. That is how the company has worked for almost 100 years.
About the bezel fitting your Sub, are you referring to the green bezel? I am not 100% certain that the green bezel will fit the 16610 and have never seen pics of it done but I have seen it work the other way around. The LV Sub can be fitted with a black bezel from the 16610.

I also believe that the sub will get maxi upgrade. Maxi dial has a very good lume compared to the other watches that arenot equipped with maxi dial

If you want a "Sub with a Maxi Dial" right now, why not buy the Sub LV and get a black bezel insert for it if you do not like the green?
Anyway, I am not sure that the Sub (16610) will get the Maxi Dial (if any update at all) already next year. All this "Rolex will get this and Rolex will get that" is only speculation, and only Rolex knows what will happen!

Many AD's in the US won't sell you a black bezel for a greenie as that would be a frankenwatch. But some overseas guys were able to get the black bezel.
