Flip in progress to purchase a 1675 (4.2 to 5 mill serial number)
Thanks to all of you showing off your 1675s I sold my 16710 to my watch dealer in hopes of purchasing a 1675. Will send pics when it's purchased. Rich

I think you will find that the 1675 wears thinner and lighter than your old 16710. Good luck with the hunt!

Good luck, Rich. I'm in the early stages of a similar swap. I've fallen hard for the 1675. Can't wait to see what you find. Cheers!

Good flip.
1675's have a lot of potential. They have been over looked for years and I think their time has come. The hunt is on! |

Well got a call from my dealer yesterday afternoon. He may have a very nice one owner 1675 for sale today. His grandfather actually sold this watch in 1975 to the gentleman. No replacement parts. One owner watch And my dealer Was the only one to service the watch serial number 2.8 mill with 74 stamped rivet. Sold in 1975. Think this is a buy. Thoughts? No pics yet. Rich

Gmt
Possible purchase. Band is a little stretched so I need to see if someone can fix. I know of Michael Young, but are there others?

Honestly...
Try seeing if he will sell without the bracelet and purchase it separately. Nothing is better than a nice tight 78360 to go with your 1675. :) You can wear it on a NATO until then. |

If it can't be fixed, there are always other solutions. Considering you know the entire history and have a personal relationship with the only one who has serviced it this is an opportunity that I think you should not pass up. |

Someone told me about a guy right here in Arizona that does great work on Bracelet rebuilds......you can source a better bracelet with some searches and/or go the nato route.
The watch itself looks great |
