Raymond Weil Maestro
Saw one of these at the local Rolex AD this evening,. IMO it is quite a looker. What are your opinions and thoughts on this timepiece and Raymond Weil as a watch making company? I believe its a ETA automatic movement. I have seen from other threads that RWs do not hold their values well. Flipping it down the road is not really a concern. I am looking for more of a dress watch and I'm afraid the DJII I will be receiving soon does not fit the bill. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Very nice. I have a freelancer day/date and I love it. Get more compliments on it than much more expensive pieces.
If you like the watch, IMO, go for it. But you should call around to AD's or even look grey market where you can easily get 40% off. RW offers high quality ETA movements and nice finishings but is not worth the MSRP. Although it is worth what you can get it for discounted. |
