Dino Asked For This, Blame Him

Alright Dino, you asked for this. Let me say that I am no artist, I don't have a very creative 'artsy' mind, and I've got no photographic skills other than pushing the 'snap' button. These are the best I can do at trying to capture my watch with some perspective. Cheers - JBA, M.D.

Well, with regards to all the nicknames around here for watches (Hulk, Bluesy, Blue Angel, Shark, etc.), I've named mine 'The King', although I don't refer to it as such except to myself. Strange, I know...

Thanks one and all. It's much harder to take these picture than the usual wrist shots. And it makes me feel kinda dorky, but it's kinda fun, too!

This thread is classic! I still vote Dr. JBA for TRF Rolex spokesman of the year as there is no denying the Dr. genuinely loves his timepiece! It looks great on you, as I said before an will say again Dino has no chance but to succumb to the enablement! Now it's just a matter of guessing what 18k model he will pick up

Haha, thanks Sam. I do really love my piece. I hope Dino gets as much joy out of his Gold as I have. Now we all just have to wait on which piece it will be!

This watch is just too cool. I hope I'm able to afford this type of luxury one day

The King looks spectacular and from someone who has named a couple of mine "Blue Angel" and "Tango", I'm all for it. Adds character.... not that that beauty of yours needs any help

Beautiful

Thanks for the kind words and the thread resurrection. I absolutely love my watch, and wearing it brings a smile to my face everyday it's on my wrist. If you want it enough, some day it will be yours. I must say that I think your watch is fantastic - the dial is quite arresting. I hope to see it someday in person.

Thanks! If I'm honest, I don't think of it too much as 'The King,' it was just a spiffy nickname I made up thanks to this place, and it kind of has a nice jingle to my ear.
