Modified TT GMT II Pics!!! As promised.

Some photos of my modified TT GMT II. Really liking this setup!

It is going to stay this way! Like the brushed SS Bracelet, combined with the TT Dial and Bezel. And the TT Clasp on the opposite side.

Very comfortable as well!

Not sure about the clasp (seems to be out of place) but the gold bezel and brushed links = sweet as !!

Well the photos are not the best! LOL But, the Brushed SS Bracelet definately makes the watch look a little more "Tool", not as flashy, and if you see it up close, it really is nice as how the brushed bracelet just flows into the brushed case. Definately like it better than the TT Bracelet! With the clasp, kind of hard to tell from the photos, but again in person, when you see the whole 360 degree of the watch on the wrist. The TT Clasp balances out the TT Dial. Kind of like when a Gold watch has a leather band, with a Gold Buckle. Would not mind though having a all SS BRushed Clasp to go with it.

At least you realised that yellow gold on watches sucks

Please put the watch back together, sell it and buy this

Great idea! I love the TT GMT II but the band would probably not be for me. Do you have a better pic showing a more straight on view of the face? I agree with miner on the clasp but the rest looks good to me.

Already have that one as well! I like the Gold on the dial. That is why I bought the TT. The Gold Hands, the Gold Bezel, the Gold Crown, the Gold Hour outlines is just the best looking dial (along with the TT Black/Gold Sub) I have seen. But the bracelet is nothing more than a peice of metal to keep the watch on your wrist. Will probably never sell the TT GMT, it is a great watch! Also love the look and comfort of the TT GMT II with an Olive Green Zulu strap!!! May try it out with a Aligator strap also in the future. Will still keep the TT Bracelet cause may want to change it out. Or could always sell the TT BRacelet on Ebay and then buy an additional SS Bracelet.

What a not very nice watch, not a purebred contraption.

Well, I like the TT Bezel and dial so do not want to swap them out. Again, the TT GMT II dial/bezel is one of the best looking Rolex dials/bezel combos out there IIHO. So basically the ony thing swaped out was the linked portion of the bracelet itself. The Case, Dial, Bezel, and Clasp all stayed the same. But definately gives it that one of a kind custom look.

I think it's an improvement, Chad.

I'm not a yellow gold fan at all, but if you like it, that's what matters. I think the SS bracelet with the brushed center links is a lot more subtle. Subtlety is good, IMO.

And I agree. If you are going to have a little gold on top, a little gold on the bottom gives a nice balance.

I would have preferred this swapping of Bracelet for SS 116710.
For two tone its seeming pretty out of place.
Anyways nice demonstration:thumbs up:

I like it with the full brushed look. I would like it better with the SS clasp in place (IMHO.)

How did you end of brushing the center links? Did you use the Scothbrite pad?
