Wearing the Hulk with different colors
I'm on the fence with the hulk or a black GMTii. I love them both, but i'm just not certain that the Green sub will go with everything. Can any owners post pics with clothing other than green? How does it look?

The beauty of this watch is that sometimes the dial can look black in certain lights so there is not really that much difference from the LN version. It looks good with anything.

The Hulk is a great looking watch, but if you're afraid of colour clashing, then go for the black Sub-C or the steel GMT IIC

That is one thing I've always thought about in regards to the Hulk as well. I find it to be a gorgeous piece with a lot of character but IMO its limited to what it can be paired up with. In all fairness most popular colors go well with it (black, blues, gray, tans, greens) but others just kind of clash ( reds, oranges, purples, yellows)
That is why it's not my favorite choice for an ONLY watch. Fantastic watch though IMO |

I'm LOVING the Green. I'm still torn though. Hopefully by the time my trade watch comes back from repair I have my mind made up. Any more pics out there?

If I had to pick one, I would go for the more subtle GMTc. Since I did not have to pick just one, I got them both! :-)
Cant really go wrong either way!

Have you tried them both on?....Both are real nice....trying them both on should help you decide which one you want first....Good luck!!

Reasons to buy a green Rolex:
It looks great when drinking Dogfish Head beer from the bottle. You would be KING on St. Patrick's Day. Most of life is beige, too much is black, and the bright spots are too few and far between. Have fun. It's a Rolex - pick it because you love it! And seriously, it is not bright green in every light. It changes colour depending on the lighting, and is very lovely the way the green gold face catches the light, and sometimes the dial appears black in lower light. If you really like it in pictures, I bet you would love it instantly if you got it on your wrist. But no, green will never compliment everything the way black or beige, gold or silver do, but a green Rolex like this is about as close as green can come to doing it. |

I love the LV and really want one but I disagree about the green going with everything. If I only had one Rolex it couldn't be the LV. Maybe I'm pickier than others. Sure it CAN be worn with anything but IMHO a black SS model is perfect for daily wear. Even if some think the green is fine with everything there will be some that disagree. With a black model you won't have that issue. I would go with a GMTII C or LN. Get the LV later.

Still, if you try it and realize you enjoy its look with what you wear then by all means go for it!
