FSOT: Doxa 1200 T SeaRambler , bought new 2-15-12, mint, want EXP II, Yachtie, SUB
Folks -
For Trade or Sale is a brand new Doxa 1200 T Sea Rambler. I am the original owner, a private purchaser, not a dealer, and bought the watch from Doxa on 2/15/12. Yup, this month! It arrived, and I put it on, and the true love did not happen. Bottom line: I am a finer watch newbie. I have been trying to avoid spending Rolex money, and started by buying an Omega Great White last year, didn't have love for that, sold it, researched for months and months, then bought the Doxa. I have now learned my lesson. After this SR is sold, I will buy my first Rolex (Explorer II or Yachtie or SUB). This watch is brande new, and in new condition. Comes with everything delivered new to me this month: 1- Iconic Doxa tube 2- foam insert 3- DVD manual in cardboard insert; 4- watch, on original beads of rice bracelet, with all links and screw pins; 5- screwdriver; 6- bonus rubber bracelet, uncut, uninstalled, unworn, unused. Total careful wrist time is under four hours. Keeps excellent time. Maybe a tiny swirl from desk diving, but that it is it. Never dropped, dinged, dunked, splashed or immersed. Utterly perfect, and as new. PRICE: this watch presently costs $1890 new from Doxa. I will sell it for $1500, Paypaled to me (I will eat fees), including ground, insured shipping via UPS to CONUS only. You will save $390 over new. Alternatively, I would be delighted to trade the watch, plus cash, to obtain my first Rolex, and will consider: 1) Explorer II (39mm) Explorer II, polar preferred, but will consider black; 2) Yachtmaster (stainless and platinum); or maybe a Submariner. I have few posts on this Forum, but have been trading on ebay since February 1999 under user name Mawgie333, with stellar, extensive feedback. If you review my ebay feedback and scroll down, you can see the happy buyer's comments from the guy who bought the Great White from me. The Doxa is awesome. I am simply learning the hard way that I am a Rolex Guy. Tons of pics attached. All are of the watch for sale, and were taken by me. Thanks-Mawgie |
