First Rolex purchase tomorrow!
Hi everyone. I have been reading the forums for quite some time and tomorrow is the big day. Tomorrow afternoon I will be making my FIRST rolex purchase - a new Sub from a local AD. From what I have read here, you only get one first time and I know it will be special. Right now, I can hardly wait for tomorrow to get here...it feels like Christmas Eve when I was a kid only this time its a new Rolex and not an Atari 2600. I look forward to joining the club!

Way to go, the feeling was incredible when I picked up my sub last october- I still look at it in admiration, in fact, I'm doing that just now...

It really is a special time for you-
Without trying to sound silly, it is a "life-changing" experience! From this day forward, you will join a special fraternity of men and women that know excellence and wear it on their wrists. Its a non-spoken way of saying that you have "arrived". This from someone who bought my first Rolex new in 1977. Congratulations, and wear it for a long time in good health. I can assure you that your Sub will be a significant part of your life for many years (just look at my signature.) My Sub is over 50 years-old and still looks as young and fresh as the day my wife and I exchanged engagement gifts - diamond ring for her, Sub for me.
