Which Rolex to wear for Baselworld 2012!?

I think I might be able to get away with a weekend to visit Baselworld. Not sure if 20 hours of flying time is worth the 48 hours I will be spending in Geneve. That's another question, is Baselworld in/close to Geneve? If not, is it driving distance away?

The title of this post is to get away with posting it in the Rolex section!

Not a lot of options but nonetheless diverse. Should I wear my 16520 Daytona or Ceramic Sub?

Any other recommendations on where to spend my time in Geneve would be highly appreciated. I will probably be arriving early on the 8th of March (8-10am depending on the airlines I choose.

Some say it's not worth to attend the BaselWorld show unless you're a journalist or otherwise invited by one or more watch manufacturers.

Basel seems to be roughly 260 kms away from Geneva by car. It's a 3-hour drive.

PS: Wear the 16520

It is about 3 hrs by car/train to Basel from Geneva.
There is also a small airport near Basel I believe.

As for the 20 hrs flying time, I guess it depends if you
are flying commercial or private and if commercial first
or cattle class.... I really want to go next year as they are
supposed to be opening a new hall and I think it will be a bigger
show. Id be coming from the states so for me Id be looking at
about 10-12 hrs in the air.

Thank you all, Daytona it is. :) It's actually 10 hours each way including a 2 hour layover in Qatar. I am travelling economy though and the 3 hour drive is a turn off. :(

Maybe there is a shuttle bus service from Geneva airport. I know there is one from Zurich.
That's how we got to Baselworld a couple of years back.
Buy the entry ticket at the airport if you ca, to avoid the que at the venue.

Buy a Gold model before you go and wear that! Your arm will feel really heavy, though...

It's closer to Zurich

Take the train from there to Basel.

Mohammed, it should be only 7-8 hour flight from Kuwait to Switzerland.

How is it 20 hours?

That sucks. If you do go, Sub. Basel is a few hours away from Geneve.
