Rolex Daytona

I just got my Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel white dial. I have been looking for this watch for many months now. Just this weekend, a aunt of mind who knows many dealers, was able to find one at an AD. I had been very skeptical about getting a new Daytona from a nonAD seller. In all honesty, I had almost given up and was going to buy one from capetowndiamonds as they had a new one for 12K. So this worked out perfectly. I know a lot of people say they have no problems finding new stainless Daytonas. I would like to say this was hard as heck. I tried many places from Boston to Tennessee and many places in between. No one could get it for me. Even the dealer I bought my last Rolex from (before it got stolen) said he just couldn't get it for me. Anyhow, SUPER excited. Have it on. Will post pics soon!

Strange, its definitly a location thing. Here in Holland the market is flooded with them. Easier to find a white daytona then a white Milgauss..
Enjoy your new daytona!!

Definitely depends on the location. I have seen them before sporadically in the NY/NJ area, and a couple times in London. Although one of the main London dealers (Rolex run) told me they have an 8 yr waiting list!!! And to put in a "special order" with the factory to get you one ASAP, would typically require spending £50k in store.. haha. Although he did readily admit and offer himself that location totally dictates availability. He mentioned they are easier to get in Paris for example. Anyway, enjoy the watch!

Congratulation. Awesome watch.

I don't think it is that easy to find in the tri-state area and it is hard to find in Hong kong as well.
