as i said in the other thread, nice (but expected) news on the ND....but, looks like the 216570's more proportionate lugs didn't mean a change of heart for rolex across the line.....

The available photo of the new Sub is hardly adequate to judge it fairly.
It certainly doesn't look like a clone of the Sub-Dates. While I am very happy and feel extremely fortunate to have my 14060M, Rolex may have hit a real home run with the 114060 (guessing at the reference) that will be a much more natural progression from the old to the new than the 116610 was from the 16610. It would please me very much if Rolex showed some restraint in the update that will honor tradition as much as it sets a new standard.
