I have seen them on black/gray NATO and they don't look too bad. The red is a little strange to my eye. BTW, technically the style of that strap appears to be a ZULU, which is thicker with the bigger rings. A NATO is made of a thinner material and uses lower profile metal keepers. Either one works, I just always have an easier time getting NATO through the gap between the spring bars and the case.

Black may work, but red is a little jarring. While i love my pepsi on a nato, I prefer the new style case with a bracelet. Just my opinion

Im a huge fan of nylon but... Not digging that color combo. I think grey, tan, OD green or black would look killer!
