One Watch Guy...

Hey everyone. For the last 7 months, I've worn nothing but my Submariner which I love and I can't seem to take it off. I bought a really nice vintage datejust that I hoped would put me into a rotation between the sub and date just, but it's just not happening. After two days of wearing another watch, all I wanted was to come back to my Sub. I think that maybe this is just the perfect watch for me and I just can't share the wrist time. Has anyone else found that perfect watch that ruins all other watches to you or am I alone here. Maybe I just need to keep looking. Oh well, thanks for listening to my rant

I feel for you, my IWC AT gets no wrist time anymore. It's a good thing that you've found the "one". Now let's see how long it lasts

I don't own a Sub but I have been wearing my Omega Speedmaster for ages.
There's always one watch you like a little more than the rest

A vintage datejust is an excellent choice for everyday elegance, you should hold on to it

The sub is one hell of a watch. I can truly understand why you don't seem to like others :D

I couldn't be a one watch guy if I tried. Love rotating all the time. Problem is I have way to many watches I really like.

Know what you mean. I do have an Omega that is my dress watch. But 98% of the time, its me and my Sub.

Buy a watch with a different dial color and you will wear both more, maybe blue or white I find that does it for me

Beat me to it, I would sell the DJ but instead of getting a diff color dial I would get a vintage meters first on a Nato. Best of both worlds! Specially bc of the acrylic

Hmm, very tempting . Well, I'll think about what I'm gonna do and come to a decision today or tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled for my DJ on the FS forum lol

I wish....

Good for you.
I enjoy owning multiple watches but it must feel good to be totally set on just one.
Sell the other and enjoy that Sub!!!

I'm always wearing my Sub too. It's by far my favorite over my DSSD. I have 7.75-8" wrists too. I wore my DSSD for 3 years daily. I have worn it once this year. I guess I really love my Sub but will be adding a AP ROO Chrono to the stable before summer.

that is exactly happened to me. As a management trainee I feel a little bit uncomfortable wearing my sub 14060. But who cares, If someone ask about my watch I simply answer "oh, it was belong to my dad, he gave me as graduation gift".

For me it comes in fits and spurts. I'll wear one watch for 2 weeks, then want a change, and wear that watch for 2 weeks.

Same thing, same thing since 2005, 100% Sub. I have even got rid off my other time pieces since they were only collecting dust.
