So, I'm looking at the 14060 vs. the 14060M

And, I find that I like the 2 lines of script on the 14060 rather than the 4 lines on the 14060M. The 2 lines of script on the 14060 seem cleaner looking to me than the 4 lines on the 14060M. I dunno, maybe I'm nuts to be so picky at this point. Also, seems to me that the movements in both are fairly similar except for some minor modifications which aren't all that drastic. Am I right on that or is there a significant difference?

You can have two or four lines on a 14060m. The M is for the modified movement.

14060 is the calibre 3000... which when you turn the crown clockwise the hands go counter clockwise like the fake ETAs.

14060M is the modified movement which I think is the 3130 correct me if I am wrong.

If you prefer the 2 lined dial you can get a 14060M non COSC. I believe the older movement is the caliber 3000 and the updated movement is the 3130 (quoting a member here) "The 3000 is essentially the same movement used today but was the last of the Rolex in-house movements upgraded with the, before mentioned, full bridge, larger balance wheel and breguet overcoil to become the 3130.."

heres my 14060M... love it
