Please help me identify a watch.

Hi,

I've just joined up with the hope that someone on here can help me.

My wife inherited an old ladies rolex recently but we are just wanting to know a little more about it. Sadly it will probably have to be sold due to family in fighting so all the help i can get the better please.

The watch has a small crown with rolex stamped onto the back and under this, there is two lines of numbers. The first is 44784 and the second is 3152.

Hi there, welcome to TRF.
The watch looks to be 1930s-1940s---could be later. You need to bring it to a jeweler and see what the gold content is 9k/14k etc.

Interesting piece, but not particularly valuable (Not in fashion).

-----Double Post-------

P.S

Are there any "Hallmarks" or engravings on the back of the watch (may help with gold content).

Afraid to agree. These watches are not sought after pieces.

Do you have the original box, papers etc? These may increase the watches appeal to someone.

thanks for the welcome.

No the only other markings i can find are on the back of the strap and they are "EXCALIBUR" and " 1/10 R G F T"

And again no this is all she recieved no papers or box.

Oh well thats not terrible news if its not worth much we should be okay keeping it now.
