Back from the Big Apple......and feeling a bit.......GREEN!!

Hi all,
Just got home home a couple of hours ago for New York.
YES......its straped on my wrist as I type.
A brand new SUB LV!!
I picked it up at an AD in New Jersey, that Mark set me up with. the second day I flew in to New york.

One thing I can say is.....I LIKE!!!!!

Thinking that I might at some point want to have the option of changing the bezel insert to the classic black, I also paid a visit ot Rolex NY.

I simply poped the insert out of my Classic Sub and told them how sad I was to have lost it

I'll post some pics after I get my camera unpacked..

Congratulations, Alex. Well done. Enjoy the Kermit.

So how was the rest of the trip? Give us a blow by blow (with pictures, perhaps).

Oh, Mark, I am so sorry for you. First you start TRF as a lark. Then you go out and actually buy your first Rolex (a kermit to boot), and now you are hooked. You haven't had your first one for 6 months and you're already waiting to get your next one. You realize that you are among the chronically addicted. And there is no hope of a cure. Medical science has been trying to isolate the Rolexitis virus for years without success. Now that you've caught the bug, there is no hope. You are terminal, pal. I am so sorry to have to be the one to break it to you.

Thanks

Just wanted to thank Mark and Alex for the kind words.

I'll try to post a picture of the vintage Daytona when I get a chance.

Welcome Ron, can't wait to see the pics.

Any friend of theirs is a friend of mine, right after the normal 90 day trial period.

Hey Ron,

A big welcome to TRF. Enjoy your stay here and post as often as you like.

Cheers - JJ

Welcome aboard Ron! You do realise that within the next week the WHO's going to label you as a breeding ground for Bacillus Rolexis LV strain and slap warning labels all over you?

Congratulations on the Kermit, Alex!
