Howdy From Dallas Texas!
Hi All,
I just stumbled across the forum while searching for Rolex. I made my first Rolex purchase today! Two watches actually. A Submariner, blue dial with yellow gold and steel band. A GMT, black dial with yellow gold and steel band. I'll pick them up in three days. They're being shipped out of state. I think the yellow gold on steel is stunning, and even better looking that an all yellow gold band. I have wanted a Rolex for many years. They have class written all over them, and an old world craftsmanship that so many people just don't understand today. The GMT will be great at work because we use UTC. I always have to count and remember if it's 5 or 6 hours with or without DST. I own three Omegas. A Speedmaster Moon Watch, a Speedmaster X-33, and a Seamaster Chrono Diver which is rather heavy. I'm looking forward to being here! |
