Service watch

As I browse vintage watch sites I notice that there are many that have been presented for "25 years of loyal service" or something similar. Got me wondering if this practice has any life today. So my question is, "What did you get your 25th anniversary with your employer?"

I'll start it off. No watch, but a nice Little Giant ladder.

Looks like the only place you can have a 25 year career these days is in the Army,if you manage to survive that is.

I received a watch for 25 years at the college back in 2005. Nothing very special about it, a $300 quartz dress watch, although it did have my name and a couple of diamond chips on the dial. My step-son has it now.

Ten years is the longest I ever worked for one company and much of that time was part-time.

in 25 years I've had 11 employers, and of those, 6 are no longer in business.

Our company doesn't do anything special for 25 years of service. It seems that it is a practice that doesn't happen as often as it used to. Also most employees don't seem to stay at a job as long as they used to. A lot more mobility in the workforce now.

Corporate America is to rough and tumble today for anyone to last 25 years. I was at my last job 11 years and had 6 bosses and the last one finally got the best of me
