Brushed lug pictures on TRF... DIY or RSC???

Hey everyone,

I have a question regarding the direction the brushed finish on some of the lugs on TRF pictures.

Brand new Xlpr and Xplr II and many other brands show the direction of the grain parallel/ same direction with the brushed grain to the bracelet.

But in many other photos the direction of the grain on the lugs are on a angel, bottom lugs - grain direction towards 6 o'clock and top lugs - grain direction towards 12 o'clock. Are these the results of DIY re-brushing or this is how it is when brand new and RSC replicates the ORIGINAL direction of the grain come service time?

Thanks.

Unless a mistake is made a RSC will always finish the grain as per the original finish.

Thanks... I can only hope so because I really dislike that look (grain direction on a slant) and when it comes time for my Xplr to visit my RSC that they and I make sure they re-brush the lugs exactly like it was from the factory... in the same direction as the grain on the bracelet.

Only the newest models have the brushing parallel to bracelet. Older have diagonal brushing.
