best place to service a sub

I have a submariner and the rotating bezel has started to pop off. Twice I've had to search for the 18k bezel and have stopped wearing the watch as a result. What is the best fix for this problem and whom should I trust to do the work. I've been in contact with The Watch Buyers Group, and feel pretty good about working with them, but I hate to send the watch off to someone without some kind of reference. So, two questions: 1) Can anyone recommend The Watch Buyers Group? 2) Where is the best, safest place to send my watch for repair? Any help would be appreciated.

it's easy to pop the bezel back on yourself, but the best safest place? RSC by far.

I'd definitely recommend going with someone with a reputation/references. I've paid $350 to overhaul an old Rolex before (at a local high-end watch store I assumed was competent), only for it to continue to lose 5 minutes/day.

If it's a new model, and the extra couple hundred bucks to get it done at RSC aren't a big deal, go for it. For exquisite vintage Rolexes, I'm sure there are many people on here who will recommend Bob Ridley.

Personally I have a couple pieces getting serviced by fellow TRF'er Rikki (timecareinc.com) at the moment. Regardless of what you do, getting a properly-serviced watch back is always a true joy.

If your in MN...Wixon jewelers in Bloomington or RF Moeller in St.Paul....both have very skilled Rolex Certified watchmakers on-site.
