A elderly woman is spotted by the police doing 90 mph in her old Jaguar and she's knitting at the same time. They take off after here with blue lights flashing.

After several miles of flashing their head lights and sounding their siren the police still haven't managed to stop the elderly woman.

The police car accelerates and pulls level with the Jag and the policeman driving shouts "PULL OVER!!"

The old woman sees the police car and the gesticulating policeman and shouts back "NO OFFICER IT'S A PAIR OF SOCKS!"
