This is a very pretty, totally restored Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Ref. 1601 in stainless steel, with 14k bezel & crown, and the unusual gold linen dial.

The original stainless steel Rolex case is 36mm in diameter, excluding the genuine gold Rolex crown.

The Rolex chronometer-rated Caliber 1570 26 jewel automatic movement has just been completely serviced, receiving a C/O/A from Palmer's Jewelers, the Rolex AD in Kokomo, Indiana at a cost in excess of $400. The original 14K & stainless steel Jubilee bracelet, marked 14K Trim and U.S.A., has been refurbished by Michael Young and will fit a wrist of about 7 1/4" . . .

The serial number, 2919xxx, dates the watch to approximately 1970, and the over-all condition would be very good . . .

$1699 plus actual carriage.
