Anyone having problems with their ROO? I am....

I picked up a Jarno Trulli towards the end of last week (sorry for not having posted any wrist shots or incoming thread, thought I would keep this one low key). I wore it very sparingly on Thursday and had let it sit over the entire weekend. Just yesterday morning as I picked it up to put on my wrist, I noticed the watch wasn't moving at all no matter how much I wind it. After having it on my wrist for the entire day it still wasn't moving at all, just dead, chrono too, completely dead.....

I'm not sure what the general consensus regarding the durability or QC of ROO's are but I was sure really upset about this. Very indeed. K I'm done venting now. Haha cheers

Any similar experience of yours you can share is greatly appreciated.

Have you spoke with who ever sold you the watch yet?

Ouch! That's not good at all.

Hopefully you'll get it sorted quickly with the seller/AD/AP.

Yes, the watch is now on its way to FL to get looked at. I'll post a follow up after it's explained to me as to what really happened to the watch...

I never had such problems with my APs watches, but it happened to my Richard Mille watch.
Hope you bought from AD , so they can exchange it to a new one :)

Did I miss something, no mention of forum buying was mentioned was it? If it was isn't the issue being looked into? Hmm, wouldn't that be the same if it happened at an AD?

I wasn't saying anything specific I just was thinking how if I buy from a non-AD id wonder how easy it is to get work done to fix it under warranty (in the event that i buy a pre owned watch). It wasnt implied in the original post if it was bought from an AD or used or anything. I just never thought about a watch actually having issues when it's an AP. the movement and brand seems so good that its weird to have to run into issues

Regardless, I do hope it ends up getting up and running and fault-less in the future. No disrespect was meant to be implied.

If the warranty card is filled out properly by the AD this won't be an issue. I know that Rolex is known for quality but problems do occur from time to time. AP I'm sure is just like any other manufacture and may also experience issues from time to time as well.

They are so friggin exquisite. I know I'd probably have a minor heart attack if my AP just stopped working one day. Good on you for keeping cool. I would have lost it!

Just wanted to update everybody - the trulli has made it back a while ago and in fact never had a problem to begin with. Had to do with how I pulled the crown or something but in all it is working as it should now......
