Keep in mind this does not include iconic vintage pieces i.e. the 1655, the $8k will get you a basic vintage model and he is aware of that... His post was meant to help folks get their feet wet into vintage ;-)

I'd love to meet John Mayer, and spark a conversation about watches. Same as with Eric Clapton. I'd would love to sit down with either and just chat watches.
