question about gmt bezel
hi all, i'm wondering of 9-million series 16753, two-tone gmt should have a bezel spring and 120-click bezel. or should have the non-click, smooth bezel?
thanks ayres |

It would have the round, semi-flat stainless steel spring underneath the bezel. The bezel on your watch is not a click-stop bezel either.

thanks guys, it is indeed a very nice gmt. yep, no click-stop... and that surprises me given that by this watch's serial, i assumed all the gmts had click stop. is the 16750 no click stop by 9 million?

The 16750 is not a click-stop either. It is the same model as your watch except it is stainless steel. The first GMT's to "click" were the GMT II 16760 released around 1983/84 which was replaced by the GMT II 16710 and then the GMT 16700 which replaced the GMT 16750.

isn't the 16800 click stop? i had assumed that, along with the other changes made to the 16750, click stop was one of them. good to know.

Yes the 16800 is but it is also sapphire which the 16750 isn't.
The 16760 is the first sapphire GMT and thus it has the click-stop. |
