Icon14 vereat!!

i recently cleaned my explorer2 using the vereat kit that i bought through therir website. i am stunned at how good this stuff works! the bracelet has a clean silky feel and the case and crystal are so brilliant and reflective i kept the cats entertained chasing the suns reflection around the room until they got bored. so for the money i think i'm going to get great value. does anybody else have any experience with this or other cleaning products?

I have always been a soap and water guy (with a bracelet dip in the ultrasonic cleaner every 6 months); but I am seriously considering ordering and giving this stuff a try.

This is beginning to repeat itself more than HBO, but YES this stuff makes the watch sizzle !

I use Dawn liquid soap for the 'wash', and Veraet for the Sparkle. Just spray it on, rinse off and use the drying cloth that comes with the spray.

If you go to www.veraet.com and somewhere along the checkout process a box appears marked 'discount code' or the sort - use ROLEXFORUMS and it gets you 15% off ! The owner Don posted this on TRF a while back.

basically yes. i spray a generous amount and take a their soft bristle brush to it and then just wipe it off with their polishing cloth and rub it dry. simple, fast, with great result.

Agreed. Delivery was fast and painless. Having had it for a couple of weeks now, I can confirm it's fantastic!

My only observation would be that the Blue cloths that I bought from them do seem to leave some fine fibres behind after polishing wheras the white ones that come with the spray are completely perfect.

Agreed, the white (microsilk) cloths are brilliant, I've just ordered 3 more.

I ordered a kit and am very pleased with it.

However I got hit with VAT and a Royal Mail handling fee as it came to over £15.

Think I paid another £10 to get from my local post office!!
Can't wait for a UK site to offer it.

Good stuff though.

This topic appears quite often, but it's always new to some folks.

I actually cleaned mine with Veraet about 20 minutes ago. It certainly didn't need the cleaning, but I enjoy the whole process. I also received an e mail from them today that they will start selling bigger refill bottles - which will be nice.

Anyone ever use their soft-bristle tooth brush on YG? I haven't tried it yet on my DDII - don't want any hairlines that are avoidable. Any experiences to share with me?

Yes mine was backordered a week too, but recieved it on Saturday. I was a little skeptical as I have used soap and water every two weeks on my other watches for years. The stuff works! I am not exactly sure why. I just got an email and they are running a sale on 16oz for 15.99. I would buy that and use it to refill my other bottles. I plan to leave one at work.

I think a small 2oz travel bottle (TSA compliant) might be a good idea too!

Wish I knew about the 15% code!

I just orded the basic kit of vereat to try out for the first time. I'm looking forward to seeing the results! Unfortunately, they are back ordered so I'm not sure when my product will ship.

I have a TT with Jubilee and have not noted any scratches on the YG. Ditto for my wife's new TT with Oyster. We both use Veraet with soft bristle toothbrushes.

I wonder why they went from plastic to steel dispenser bottles? I like the clear bottles to see how much I'm using.

I've been surprised actually at how little one seems to use out of the bottle with multiple squirts.

Its kind of like the squirt that keeps on squirting

It's awesome stuff, the white microfibre cloths...FINALLY cloths big enough to use!

I use them on my watches, my iPhone screen, and iPad screens.
