Does this Daytona sound legit?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/270960777371...84.m1423.l2649

Ebay seller has a black face and a white face Daytona for sale. No buy it now price or starting bid. Seller has only 3 feedbacks and just joined ebay this month. Both watches appear to have boxes and paperwork. Will only take Moneybookers for payment. I checked Moneybookers out and it is used almost exclusively in Europe and overall had poor reviews. Great looking watches but something just does not seem right.

With only 3 feedbacks, I didn't even bother looking at the watch.

Buy the seller. Sorry, I don't have any desire to work with someone on a transaction of this immportance without the seller having an established reputation.

Tough for new sellers, but if he's trustworthy and decent he'll get there. He just wont't get my business until he does get there. I'll just stick with trusted sellers here on TRF I guess.

I have over 450 feedback on eBay - I live in the UK and sell worldwide. I have never heard or used moneybookers.

Stay away.

Feedback shows he bought three $0.99 items. Now selling top end watches. I don't think so.

I couldn't agree more. Rotten eggs smell better than this.

The website is www.moneybookers.com

Sellers feedback is for low dollar items; 99cent earrings, 99cent tweezers, etc.. Not what you would expect from a person selling high end watches.

I think there may also be something strange about his photos. The close-up of the black face shows gold hand and markers etc. But when I look at the shot of the same watch in the presentation box the hands look silver in colour. Also the photos look very good quality. Have they been stolen from elsewhere I wonder?

It appears that Skrill (aka Moneybookers) is a legit competitor to paypal and it also appears that Skrill is covered by eBay Payment protection.

Taken from eBay ..........

"""Conditions under which a case can be filed

As a buyer, you can file a case under the eBay Buyer Protection Policy when all of the following are true:
You are an eligible buyer (see Buyer eligibility).
You completed a purchase of an eligible item on eBay and submitted a case within 45 days from the date of payment.
If the item is an event ticket in the Tickets category, then you have until 7 days after the date of the event to contact eBay about your issue.
You purchased the item on eBay by using the Pay Now option or an eBay invoice.
You paid for the item in one lump payment. Transactions involving multiple payments, such as a deposit followed by a final payment, are not covered unless the non-lump sum payment was due to an eBay or PayPal system requirement or policy.
You used one of the payment methods listed below:
PayPal
ProPay
Skrill
Paymate
Credit card or debit card processed through the seller's Internet merchant account
Bill Me Later """

I'm not commenting on the watch as my Daytona experience is limited (although it looks okay to me), but just wanted to highlight that Skrill does appear to be okay.

Also, notice it's the only payment method allowed for this item, which is interesting because you could not previously list an item without Paypal being chosen by default regardless of any other requested payments methods by the seller, paypal always had to be chosen, and it appears that this has changed.
