Same with me, these are the two Rolex i liked most and ironically both of them stopped working one month after the other. I learned about this site in search for answers.

Thanks for your concern, i've tried some tips from well meaning enthusiasts but they didn't work. Most however suggested to leave it to the experts and that's the right thing to do. These are precision and expensive watches and only the authorized service centers have the technical know how and instruments to fix the problem.
Thanks again, your watch are very nice.

Dbdedel, how are your rolexes? Did you get them fixed? What were the problems? Never heard about two rolexes going bad at about the same time ...........

So sorry for the very late reply, i appreciate your very kind concern. It alleviates the burden when somebody shares your sentiments. This really came as a very big surprise, i had several Rolexes for decades and this was the very first time it happened, one after the other and they were both purchased brand new. Anyway, i had the Submariner fixed, it seems that there was a broken spring. I haven't had my Daytona fixed however. It cost me quite a sum of maney to have my Submariner fixed so i intend to bring my Daytona back to the Philippines where the service cost is more reasonable.
Many thanks again
