SHWR in London

Hello

Has anyone ever heard of, or had work done by, the above company?

I was at Rolex St James Sq the other day and they gave me the details of this company for work which they would not do.

Thanks

Does it stand for Stephen Hale Watch Restoration?

I guess if they have provided you with someone elses details then it can't be a bad place to go...

It's Steve Hale. He comes very highly recommended by many vintage dealers and collectors in London and will do work for people like David Duggan. Jed has also recommended him and I'm going to use him for my Red Sub when I get the time to go in to see him as he only works weekdays....

I was at St James Square the other day and there was someone there with a watch from, I think, the 60s which Rolex would not take in for work. They gave out a SHWR card and told the man that SHWR would do work that Rolex would not.

I asked about removing the cyclops from my Sub but was told that the glue was changed a few years ago and since then Rolex will not remove them. I asked for a SHWR card and was given one. I'm wondering if they would remove a cyclops and I'm also wondering if they would brush the centre links on a Daytona bracelet.
