Icon9 How do you guys deal with separation from your Rolex?

I don't know how you guys do it, but it's my first time dealing with being separated from my Rolex!

I had noticed that my Milgauss power reserve was about 30 hours with a full wind and active wearing (my job requires me to move my hands alot). It kind of bugged me because I just bought it 3 months ago preowned from Tourneau (yes, I know...). Finally last week the spring bar popped out of one of the links and I took it back for them to loctite it back. After some talking to the service advisor I decided for them to send it back to their repair center in Las Vegas. Apparently there's Tourneau NY and LV centers for them to send it to.

It's been a week and the wait is killing me! How do you guys cope with sending it in to RSC and other places for 4-6 weeks? I can easily see how one would end up with a second Rolex in that time period!

It really is the perfect rationale to get a second one.

You'll miss it no matter what because it's the one that is gone, but having more than one helps greatly.

You have to have multiple in the rotation just in case you need to part with one for a period of time! Time for you second.

How do I deal with separation? Badly. Ergo I have lots of other watches in rotation so it feels like the missing piece is just tucked away at the bank.

I have a Citizen, Seiko and Movado to wear in the meantime but this is the first time I'm having withdrawls!

Once you have the bug for a second though, it can lead to a third, maybe a fourth.... and so on!!

Have fun and enjoy the ride...

I'm going through the same thing, man! my Sub has been at RSC for 10 days, replacing the crystal! I just got it 3 months ago as well, and I miss it terribly.
When i send it in for a full service in a few years, I will defanately have a second Rolex!
